Rachel Wood is a brand designer and graphic artist who specializes in translating challenging concepts into thoughtful, original visuals.
She learned, through a 10-year career in hospitality curating special guest experiences, how to understand a vision and make it a reality. Most recently, she served as the creative director at Southall Farm and Inn in Franklin, Tenn.
Rachel joined MBPR as creative director in January 2025, where she leads brand development, art direction and creative projects. In this position, she builds new brand identities, strategically guides rebrands and pinpoints opportunities through comprehensive auditing. A triple threat: creative director, graphic designer and skilled illustrator, Rachel adds depth and originality to her work. Her portfolio spans ad campaigns, infographics, website design, print collateral, social media graphics, merchandise, packaging design and more.
Rachel believes in human-centered, holistic design that is hand-drawn and cohesive throughout a brand’s visuals and voice. Her style is flexible, bending to a client’s need, but her bread-and-butter is organic illustration.
Originally from South Carolina, Rachel moved to Nashville by way of Dallas, Texas, in 2019. She holds an International Business degree from Anderson University.
Outside of MBPR, Rachel is often drawing from her hospitality roots by hosting friends for dinner or a good cup of coffee with husband, Cody, and son, August.
